How To Make Bokashi
Переглядів 20 тис.3 роки тому
Here are my directions for making bokashi. First, you need a substrate, like animal bedding, sawdust, rice or wheat bran. Then, per 1-gallon of substrate, use: - 1/2 Tbsp EM or SCD Probiotics: www.smilinggardener.com/sale/effective-microorganisms-and-scd-probiotics/ - 1/2 Tbsp unsulfured Blackstrap Molasses or 1/4 Tbsp sugar - 1.5 cups water Here are the directions: www.smilinggardener.com/orga...

Effective Microorganisms for Human Health
Переглядів 10 тис.3 роки тому
Yes, EM is used mainly in the garden, but here, I'm talking about Effective Microorganisms for human consumption. The products made for farming and gardening aren't food grade, but there are other food-grade versions available. Here are the ones I know: - Herbal Probiotics: www.smilinggardener.com/sale/effective-microorganisms-and-scd-probiotics/ - Pro EM1: www.teraganix.com/products/pro-em-1-p...

I tried to put microorganisms into the soil of small plants. It looks like it makes that small plant wilt and then die. But opposite things happened when I put microorganisms into soil of big tree, that tree is growing very healthy. I think to be in the safe side is just using EM in compost, since I used compost containing EM in the soil of small plant, it looks like that small plant grow very healthy.

Correction, the green and blue bacteria or microbes you're seeing is variance of penicillin and maybe Trichoderma. Very beneficial for your soil and health. I make ferments for a company called build a soil in Colorado. I would love to send you a bottle of my Kiefer ferment called Yahwhey for you to try out. Please let me know if you're interested and how we can communicate.

Great little video, brief and to the point. Well done. May I run something by you? I have been using urine on my fescue lawn and seem to be getting good results. I mix it 5 to 1 in a 55 gallon drum, drop a pump in it, and spray it with a garden hose over my lawn. Haven't had any signs of burning with that ratio. I do it in the early spring and the late fall. Seems to be working. Do you like that 5 to 1 ratio for a lawn?

You have to read "Bread from Stones", by julius hensel, 1820. By this time, farmers used just compost and rock dust and the chemical industry (highly linked to the war and explosives industry) was starting to get into agriculture, by producing chemical fertilizers. The book is a critic against the chemical industry and shows the harms that chemical fertilizers can do on the soil.

Hey Smiling Gardener, I found this because I am just getting started with composting. Do you drink em1 that you expanded by 20x with water and molasses? Also you mentioned deodorant, washing, shampoo. I know some farmers wash their dogs woth expanded EM. Have you tried washing your hair or armpits with it?

Gardening is definitely a wonderful hobby and if it is done with a smile on the face then it is even better. However, please, leave out physics if you don't understand or even ignore it. There is - as far as we know by today - no way of so easily converting chemical elements. And if there is something like that then please cite scientific and peer reviewed publications about experimental results which have been reproduced by independent scheintists. But, this is not enough, really. Also provide an explanation for these findings. Even this is not enough: Explain why thousands of other experiments contradict such a allegedly possible biological transmutations. You will also have to explain where the devastating effect of an atomic bomb come from and why do nuclear plants work and and and. If such an easy transmutation would be possible then we wouldn't have any energy problem and the world would be a really better place. If you can find such a method, then you would get the Physics, the Chemistry AND the Peace Nobel Price. And probably the Nobel Price for Medicine because you would have found a method of preventing humans from being contaminated by radioactivity. Good luck.
